Whats so good about steve madden shoes?

I brought some shoes from the thrift store for $5.00(im a 18yr old bargain shopper):) they look as if they was only worn about twice so i brought them my friend liked them (i didn't tell her i got them at a thrift store) and asked me what they were called and i saw that they said steve madden she went crazy o.O!
