Best places to live in Coral Gables?

The Dadeland area aka "Downtown Dadeland" is 4 Metro-Rail stops from the University station; about 5 minutes by train & maybe 10 min. by car. It has thousands of mostly new apartments & condominiums for rent at low cost since the real estate collapse. It has Dadeland shopping center & dozens of restaurants, cafes, health clubs & all the facilities you want. $1200 will get you a 2 br. in a new highrise, with pool, parking & maybe a health club in Dadeland. A 1 br may be closer to $850 - 900. Electric is not customarily included in So. Fla. rentals, but cable usually is. U of M is at the Southern edge of the main part of Coral Gables about as close to Dadeland as to to the downtown Gables where rentals are much more expensive.
