2005 Honda Pilot GPS Navagation Problems?

Hi, I have a 2005 Honda Pilot with Navigation System. Today, the system started to boot up & then the screen turned black. This kept continuing as I drove. The system will not turn on fully. I removed the DVD and the screen would work and state that there was no DVD installed. When I put the DVD back in, the same problem started over. Any suggestions for troubleshooting? please help me with the problem. 5 stars for the best answer
